The other night we did. Well, really we had just gone for a walk down at the river, and took the trail that ended up at the boat launch. It was one of those 100° + days, and there were tons of boats out on the water...so we decided to sit down and watch for a bit. Oh, and the launch only had one ramp...this should be good!
We sat there for about 30 minutes, and counted 11 boats that got retrieved, {no divorces}...not bad. It was funny to see the dance of boats as they would drop someone off at the dock to go and fetch the trailer. One guy just jumped off the boat and swam to shore {the water is still a bit cold to jump in like that!} Then they would put around waiting for their trailer to back down the ramp {some backed better than others...}. Then driving the boat onto the trailer...the guy with the most expensive boat and loudest speakers couldn't do it after two attempts, and his wife had to show him how it was done. Nice work!
I'm thinking we might be frequenters of the boat launch. :)
